Interior Design Services
The Design Journey is a staged process that creates clarity first, then direction, then transformation.

Most clients come to me feeling overwhelmed by decisions and unsure where to start. Whether you're in town or on a property hours from anywhere, the process works the same.

Full-Service Interior Design
Louise Tait Design is a Warwick-based full-service interior design studio working with clients across regional and rural Australia, as well as city and coastal communities.
Whether you're building a new home, renovating an existing one or refining the finishing details, every project is approached with a balance of creativity, practicality and thoughtful consideration.
From colour and material selections through to joinery design, drafting and documentation, I help clients navigate the many decisions involved in creating a home that feels personal, functional and deeply connected to the way they live.
How I Work
Every project begins with understanding how you live, what matters most to you and how you want your home to feel.

Some clients engage me for a single consultation, while others require comprehensive design support from concept development through to joinery design, drafting and documentation.

Whether you're located in town, on a remote farming property, along the coast or in a city apartment, distance is no barrier to delivering thoughtful, well-resolved interiors.

The process is designed to bring clarity to every stage, helping you make confident decisions while creating a home that feels authentic, considered and uniquely yours.
From Overwhelm To Clarity
Whether you're building, renovating or refreshing your home, it's easy to become overwhelmed by the number of decisions involved.

I help simplify the process, providing clear direction across layouts, finishes, fixtures, furnishings and styling so you can move forward with confidence and avoid costly mistakes.

Let's Start With A Conversation
Many of my clients come to me after months of collecting ideas, saving inspiration and researching options.

They know what they like, but they're struggling to see how it all fits together.

Our first conversation is simply about understanding your project, your priorities and where you're feeling stuck.

There is no pressure and no expectation to have everything figured out. My role is to help bring clarity, provide direction and make the process feel achievable.

Bringing Clarity To The Process
Once I understand your project, I'll prepare a personalised proposal outlining how I can best support you.

Every project is different. Some clients need help selecting finishes and colours. Others need guidance through an entire renovation or new build.

My role is to simplify the process, helping you navigate the many decisions involved while ensuring each choice works as part of a bigger picture.

So instead of second-guessing every decision, you can move forward with confidence.

A Home That Feels Like You
From layouts and cabinetry through to furnishings, artwork and styling, I help bring every element together into a cohesive and considered home.

The goal isn't to create a home that looks like everyone else's.

It's to create a home that feels authentic to you, supports the way you live and reflects what matters most to the people who call it home.

The Result
My clients often tell me the greatest value isn't the selections, plans or schedules.

It's the peace of mind that comes from knowing someone is guiding the process, helping them avoid costly mistakes and bringing clarity when everything starts to feel overwhelming.
